Family
I was born and raised in Billerica, MA and it is where I currently reside today. I have a fantastic, close-knit family including my parents, sister, brother-in-law, two nieces and a nephew.
My Career
My career has been filled with diverse experience across a range of industries and products. When one sets out on a path in life, one doesn’t always know where it will take them. I began working for start-up and capitally funded companies on the bleeding edge in their fields. I have four years managing a cable music video on demand (VOD) service, as well as its web-based counterpart; nearly two and a half years managing the production and distribution of content for a worldwide hotel video on demand system provider; a year and a half managing content for websites owned by the biggest companies and networks in sports and entertainment as well as performing quality assurance testing on a new, industry-leading product being brought to the marketplace; and currently as an Account Services Manager for the largest educational content provider in the world. At each place I have gained valuable, transferable experience and a keen sense of thriving in workplaces large and small.
In My Community
I am very proud of the community in which I live. I volunteer many hours at the local access television studio, as well as for local government, civic and non-profit organizations. Formerly, I produced a monthly current events show called Eye on Billerica. I am active in local government as a Town Meeting Representative as well as a staffer and volunteer on many municipal and state campaigns. I am also Chair of Holiday Festival Board of Directors. We are a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization with the mission to put on free, family events during the holiday season. This experience has taught me how to work as a team both in small groups and as part of a larger body. These are skills I bring to the table everyday in both my professional and volunteer career. This work and dedication earned me the 2018 Billerica Alliance IMPACT Award. Through a blind nomination process, I was given this award that recognizes “the tremendous impact an individual has on the Town of Billerica and in their community.”
Outside of Work
I am an avid concertgoer. I am also a sports memorabilia collector with over 150 autographs and items in my collection. I am also a mobile disc jockey for General Sound Entertainment. I have entertained at many high end locations, including a castle and even a local sports celebrity’s house.
